Show :Mary A. Gagon Observes 80th Year Mrs. Mary A. Gagon celebrated celebrat-ed her 80th birthday anniversary anniver-sary January 4, with a quiet day at home with her children. Mrs Gacon was born January 1 4, 18G3 "in Salt Lake City, a Idar-Miier George Albert and r.-:z Ann Goodrich. She was I married to William II. Gngon in the Loran Temple, Nov. 20. 1890. He died Feb. 14, 1923 at Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Mrs. Gagon came to Roosevcli jwiih h-M' husband in 1907 and I has resided here since that time, bcir.2 one of the early pioneers of the area. She is the mother of 8 children, chil-dren, 7 of whom arc living, as follows: Mamie Baldwin, Ogden; Fannie Todd and Ella Roberts, Roosevelt; Earl Gagon, Los Angeles; An-geles; Ray Gagon and Owen Ga gon, Salt Lake City; Leona Shumway, Dragerton. She also raised two step-children. She has 26 living grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. |
