Show Tridell Mrs. C. E. Merkely Mr. and Mrs. Horace Morrell, of Logan, were weekend visitors at the home of Bishop and Mrs. II. LeRoy Morrell, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Nelson, of Salt Lake, visited at the home of Mrs. Nelson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Trujillo. Mis DeVcan Ross and Miss Veda McKee spent the New Year celebrating in Salt Lake and Cedar Valley. A New Year's party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merklcy. Games were played and a delicious chicken supper was served. Mr. and Mrs. Darrcll Morrell, of Vernal, were visitors Sunday at the home of Mrs. Morrell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Ross. Clyde Merklcy has taken over the George Simmons store. Mrs. Mignon Moosman was taken to a Salt Lake hospital during the week for medical care. The ward visits were made Tuesday and Wednesday. Bishop II. L. Morrell, J. R. McKee and W. K. Harvey, each taking a part of the ward. A shower and dance was given giv-en Monday honoring Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kitchen, who were recently married. Mrs. Kitchen will be remembered as Miss Joy-lccn Joy-lccn Curtis. Mrs. George Bartlctt, Mrs. Charles Glincs and Lea Mac Kitchen were hostesses at a shower in the afternoon. Games were played and a tasty luncheon lunch-eon was served. The evening was spent in dancing. Those who attended from out of town were Mrs. Marvin Curtis, Cur-tis, mother .of the bride, and R. Curtis, a brother, from Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Chamberlain, from Cedar Valley, |
