Show SVSSA Ends Recess; Two Wards Set Opening exi Week THE Mutual Improvement Association As-sociation of the two Roosevelt wards will begin their season's activities next week with the Second ward holding its initial meeting Tuesday, September 16, and the Roosevelt ward -opening Thursday, September 18. Both jroups will meet in the Roosevelt Roose-velt stake house on the designated desig-nated nights at 8:30. A get acquainted program which will include games and a dance will feature the M.I. A. ooening in the Second ward, Tuesday evening, and on Thursday Thurs-day the Roosevelt ward will start its Mutual season with a party and a dance. .' M.I.A. officers who will direct activties in the local wards during dur-ing the ensuing year have been announced as follows: Roosevelt Ward Y.M.M.I.A. Theron Leavitt, president; Van Wintcrton, 1st assistant; Kenneth Ken-neth Zirker, 2nd assistant; Jackie Jack-ie ' McLea, secretary; Earl Dill-man, Dill-man, M Men jeader- Lewis Taylor, Tay-lor, scout piaster. A special interest in-terest leader will be" named later.
