Show Utah Leads Nation In Reinstatement Of Gl Insurance In proportion to veteran population, pop-ulation, the State of Utah is leading the nation in the number of National Service Life Insurance Insur-ance policies reinstated since the drive opened February 3rd, according ac-cording to figures just released by the Veterans Administration from Washington, D. C. Utah's lead is more than three to one over many eastern and southern states. By the same token, Branch 13 of the VA, embracing Utah, Wyoming, Colorado Col-orado and New Mexico, is also leading the other twelve branches branch-es by a considerable margin. O. L. Burton, in charge of the Basin contact office of the VA, points out that the drive will continue until the deadline on August 1, at which time the easy reinstatement privileges established estab-lished by Congress will expire. The VA in Utah expresses thanks to the press, radio stations, sta-tions, service and civic organizations organ-izations for aid in making possible pos-sible Utah's position of No. 1 in the Nation. Mr. Burton urges those veterans veter-ans who have allowed their in-, surance to lapse to contact him at their earliest convenience for full information regarding rein-( statement. Veterans of the Roosevelt Roos-evelt area are requested to come to the Shurtleff hotel, Roosevelt, Wednesdays and Thursday for assistance. |
