Show Local Dairymen Join In Promoting ADA Sales Plan Duchesne county dairy farmers farm-ers will join their neighbors across the state and nation during dur-ing the month of June in supporting sup-porting the dairy farmers' American Amer-ican Dairy Association's nation wide program for "Sales not Surplus," according to County Agent Louis A. Jensen. Plans have already been prepared pre-pared by the American Dairy Association representing 5,000,-000 5,000,-000 dairy farmers for an expanded ex-panded business action campaign of advertising, merchandising, and research to develop new and pofitable outlets for milk, butter, but-ter, cheese and other foods. "Busy farmers can effectively meet the challenge of competition competi-tion for dairy markets by backing back-ing their American Dairy Association," Asso-ciation," . County Agent Jensen said in praising every farmer for doing his share. Finances for the ADA program comes exclusively from producing produc-ing dairymen as voluntary deductions de-ductions on milk or cream checks during June each year. Dairy fa.rmers in this area will participate partici-pate by making voluntary contributions con-tributions at the rate of one cent oer pound of bulterfat de livered at the dairy for the thirty days of June. These funds provide for a full year's nationwide nation-wide business program. The following local dairy plants are cooperating with the farmers of this area by making June butterfat deductions for the ADA business action program: Mountain States Creamery, Sweet Clover Creamery, Calder Brothers Creamery, Mountain States Creamery, Boneta; Mountain Moun-tain States Creamery, Myton; Mountain States Creamery, Mtn. Home; Calder Brothers Creamery, Cream-ery, Roosevelt; Roosevelt Creamery Cream-ery Co., Roosevelt.
