OCR Text	Show BABIES A baby was born in a hospital I in the United Stales about every fifteen seconds last year, putting the number of such births above the 2,000,000-mark for the first time in the countrys history, according ac-cording to a report by the Council Coun-cil for Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Med-ical Association. Total hospital births in 1946 numbered 2,136,-373, 2,136,-373, compared with 1,969,667 in 1945.
