Show Ballard Ellen Bracken Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger are receiving congratulations from their many friends because of the arrival of a, son, born Saturday evening at' the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital. They have seven daughters; this is their first son. Eula Brighton, who is employed em-ployed at ZCMI in Salt Lake, is spending a two week vacation at home. Mrs. John Wardle, of Hawthorne, Haw-thorne, Calif., visited with. Mrs. Angus Anderson and Mrs. Lon-nie Lon-nie Winn, Saturday. The weekly show 'which has ( been held in the chapel each Thursday night, has been changed to Monday night. Robert Andrews and Murel Benson, of Roosevelt, were the speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday. The four stake MIA convention conven-tion held at Roosevelt Sunday was well attended by the ward officers. Mrs. Vern Allred and small grandson, of Ogden, came out Wednesday to get Glen Allred who has been visiting here for several weeks. Mrs. Ray Westwood and baby, of Rangely, have been visiting her father for several days. Her brother, Wayne Cook, will go home with her for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wagstaff and four daughters, of Tabiona, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Coston. Jesse Hullinger took , his daughter, Bonnie, and Barbie White to Provo Sunday, where i the girls will be enrolled at the' BYU. Mrs. Jim Miller and a sister are visiting Mrs. Miller's daughter, daugh-ter, JVIrs. Jack Cook. They are also visiting at the John Gardner Gard-ner home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham are moving to Salt Lake for the winter so that Mrs. Bingham can receive medical attention. Mrs. Boyd Bowden has returned re-turned to her home in Kalamath, Calif., after a visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hatch. Mrs. Garn Bodily, of Salt Lake, has been visiting .here. Raymond Eldredge went to Logan last week to take his daughter, Betty, and son. Glen, to enroll at the USAC for the coming winter. Mr. and .Mrs. Elton Kettle have moved into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Pope. Mrs. L. E. Clark, who has been working in Salt Lake, is now working at the Roosevelt hospital. Dave Allen, of Pleasant Valley called at the Angus Anderson home on Monday. Jay Jenkins had his tonsils removed at the Salt Lake Veterans Vet-erans hospital. LeRoy Anderson sang on the amateur program over KJAM Wednesday evening. Bill Haws, of Vernal has gone to Salt Lake for medical care. Mrs. Haws . is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Betts. A chicken supper was given Friday evening for members of the Aaronic Priesthood, but it was very poorly attended. The meal was prepared by the Relief Re-lief Society officers. |
