Show Arcadia Mrs. Marion S. Shields Saturday evening, April 26, a reception and wedding dance was held in the church honoring Mr. and Mrs. Grant Peel, who were married in the Salt Lake Temple, March 21. Mrs. Peel, the former Sybil Lusty, is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty, of Arcadia. She is a graduate of 'the Roosevelt high school and has attended college at the B. iY. U. in Provo. Grant is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peel, of Mt. Pleasant and a graduate of the B. Y. U. The newly weds received re-ceived many beautiful gifts. I They will make their home in 'Provo. Mrs. Stanley Ross spent several sev-eral days last week in a Salt Lake City hospital. Francis Ross has purchased the farm and home of John Gilbert and will move his family there from Myton, this week. Delmar Ross, who has been hospitalized in the Fitzsimmons hospital at Denver for several months following an accident, has been released and is now at his father's home. He expects to be released from the Army, May 11. Sunday afternoon the Primary Association under the supervision supervis-ion of the presidency, planted an evergreen Spruce tree at the cross roads, in honor of the Pioneers. Pio-neers. Mrs. Loryn Ross and daughter, Jean, returned Saturday evening after a week's visit in Salt Lake with Mrs. Ross' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hair. C. A. Larsen is visiting his children in Salt Lake City. Several members of the Relief Society attended., the extension class at Duchesne, Tuesday. Mrs. Melvin Bird spent the weekend in Salt Lake City. , Mr. and Mrs. John Hardy Blaine and daughters, of Myton, were visitors at Sunday School Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ross and daughter; Karen, of Myton, called call-ed on friends here Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Peel, of Mt. Pleasant, came in Saturday to attend at-tend the reception for their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Peel. Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate were Sunday dinner guests of Mr and Mrs. S. T. Fairbanks. oJr and Mrs- Marvin G. Shields entertained at dinner, bunday.
