The wild varieties have proven satisfactory for drying. They can be successfully dried by being placed on wire trays, one layer deep, and having a rapid current f warm dry air passed over them. The same equipment used for other oth-er dehydration will prove satisfactory. satisfac-tory. Many, who live near wild mushroom mush-room patches, might be able to father far more than needed for immediate im-mediate consumption. When thoroughly thor-oughly dried they will keep in good ondltion for several years. They can be sold dry to stores or restau-I restau-I rants or kept for winter home use. |
