Show Red Cross Nurses Aide Class At Hospital A class of twelve, taught by Mrs. Reva Allred is completing the first unit of Nurse's Aide instruction in-struction in the . At the completion of this the class will be graduated and those who have qualified will be prepared for assisting nurses in civil and military hospitals. hos-pitals. This assistance can be given in innumerable ways but always . under supervision. Nurse's Aides can work in hospitals hos-pitals only when a registered nurse is in charge and on active duty and they are not allowed to give medication of any kind unless a special arrangement has been made by the Professional Profes-sional Committee with permission permis-sion from Red Cross area office. Committees have been formed, both lay and professional, to assist as-sist in administering the program. pro-gram. The first is made up of delegates from each of the women's wo-men's organizations. From the Altrus club, Mrs. Paul Nelson; from the BPW, Mrs. Bennie Schmiett; Relief society, Mrs. Gertrude Rassmussen: Junior Social Culture Club, Mrs. Bliss Eldredge; American Legion Auxiliary, Mrs. Olive Harrison; Women's Fish and Game. Mrs. Delight Andrews. The Professional Profes-sional committee is made up of Dr. L. Miles, Dr. D. P. Whitmore and Mrs. Martha Shanks. Mrs. Allred reports a willing, enthusiastic spirit in the class. The women taking it are giving their eighty hours of instruction time and the required one hundred hun-dred and fifty hours yearly and providing their own uniforms.
