Show Sgt. and Mrs. Max Allred arc the nroud parents of a baby girl, born November 13 at the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital. Mrs. Allred before be-fore her marriage was Miss Melva Madsen of Boneta Mrs. Milton Anderson accompanied accom-panied her sister, Miss Vida May-ho. May-ho. to Hcbcr Monday where she will visit for a while. Sgt. Claude S. Murray received receiv-ed his discharge from the army in Salt Lake City Thursday, November 8th and arrived home thc latter part of the week. We are glad to see Claude back home to stay and we welcome him back among us. Mrs. Hazel Rowley, who has been emrjloved at the L D S hospital in Salt Lake City, came home last week to stay. She is with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Robinson. County Agent Marden Broad-bent Broad-bent of Roosevelt and Delmar Mecham of Mt. Emmons were in town Wednesday. Mrs. Marie Mecham and Mrs. Ruth Fietkau. who are employed employ-ed in Salt Lake City, spent a few davs visiting their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Allred, and their small daughters, who arc staving with their crrandnarents. Edmond Case of the U S Army is spending a few days of his furlough fur-lough with relatives in Altonah. Mrs. Pauline Wood returned home Monday from Memphis, Tennessee. Richard Clark broke two fingers fing-ers and his hand was badly cut Thursday, when a log carriage he was operating broke loose at the Chase Watterson saw mill. Mr. Watterson took him to Roosevelt for medical treatment. treat-ment. Miss Afton Berrett stayed a few clays last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LaForge Dast-rup Dast-rup of Altamont while they made a trip to Salt Lake City. Robert Snyder received his discharge from the army last week and arrived Thursday, accompanied ac-companied by his wife, to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Snyder for two weeks. They are planing to spend the winter in Provo. M.rs. Delores Corbin returned home Friday from Salt Lake. Albert Rochel broke his ankle Thursday when his horse fell with him while trying to head a cow. The D U P held their meeting for November, Wednesday in the ! Ward Hall with Mrs. Minnie I Maxficld and Mrs. Mary E, Jacobson Jac-obson as hostesses. Mrs. Helene Oman gave the lesson. Thc Moon Lake Stake Mutual officers met in the Altonah ward hall at a convention Saturday night. Dancing and refreshments were enjoyed by GO people.
