Show 6XSXSSXSXSXSXSX2XSX5X3 BLUEBELL sxsxsxsxsxsxsxsx Mr. and Mrs. Mont Williams and son, Kent of Ogden, have been spending the past week here visiting relatives. Wallace Seeley, Marion Seeley and Evan Goodrich returned home on Sunday after spending a few days working in the timber at the Petty mountain. A dance was held on Tuesday evening honoring our soldier boys, Howard, Don, Doug, R. G., Clinton, Franklyn, Harry, Clyde, Joe and Henry. A large crowd attended. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Smith of Tabiona, Mrs. Luella War-die of Duchesne were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith on Tuesday. They were among the many who attended the soldiers parly. Jerry Angus of Spring Canyon, Can-yon, Utah is visiting here with his cousin, John Asa Webb. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Goodrich took Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith and children to their home in Helper on Saturday. Frank and family have been visiting the past two weeks here with relatives. rela-tives. On Tuesday the following girls and their leaders joined the stake on an outing at Yellowstone, Yellow-stone, Mrs. Lucille Winkler, Mrs. Vivian Powell, Maxine Winkler, Lois Gale, Lynetta Bird, Lucy Powell, Grace Bird, Melva Cook, Dollie Bird, Nona Mathews, Elaine Hancock, Fontella Murray Mur-ray and Ardis Goodrich. On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Seeley and family, Mrs. Laura Seeley and Betty Lou and Miss Jeanne Goodrich were Vernal and Naples visitors. R: G. Lisonbee left on Wednesday Wednes-day for Fort Douglas where he was to enter the service. Joseph Jenkins has received an honrable discharge from the army. He made 51 bombing missions mis-sions over Germany. This makes the 6th of our boys to .receive honorable discharges. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith and sons, Franklyn and Harry were Vernal visitors on Wednesday. The Trailbuilder teachers, Mrs. Dolores Drollinger and Mrs. Rhea Carter took their classes on an outing to the mountains. They went on Friday and returned home on Saturday morning. The boys who went on the trip were: Bus Mathews, Max Anderson, Paul and Ronald Tulgren, Udell Winkler, Paul Bird, Wayne Bird, Aullen Larsen, Marian Bird and Miss Jeanne Goodrich. Mrs. Laura Seeley entertained the following ladies to a delicious de-licious dinner on Sunday; Mrs. Sylvia Goodrich, Mrs. Zella Goodrich, Mrs. Lydia Hancock, and Mrs. Vivian Powell. Dies Following Stroke Word was received that Mrs. Elizabeth Shields Murray died on Sunday evening af9:00 P. M. Mrs. Murray suffered a stroke on Monday of last week and never regained consciousness. She was 67 years old. Mrs. Murray was born at Lake View, Tooele county and married Robert Alex Murray on Decernber 23, 1893, at Lake View, Tooele county later they were endowed at the Salt Lake Temple on April 5th 1935. They moved to Bluebell about 30 years ago. Besides her husband she is survived by the following sons and daughters, Wilbur, Johnny, Gilbert, Otto, Ellis, Scott Murray, Mrs. Florence Flor-ence McClusky, Mrs. Gladys Ham ilton, Mrs. Fern Gowans, Mrs. Marvel Gowans all of Tooele, Mrs. Naoma Woodward, and Mrs. Helen Holder of Salt Lake City, Aflon Murray of the U. S. Navy, Earl Murray of Bluebell, and Mrs. Fay Foster of California. Cali-fornia. Funeral services and burial were conducted in Tooele on Wednesday. |
