Show EXSXSXSXSXEXXsSXSXsXSXsX DUCHESNE ssxsxsssxssx2xg The Women's Study club was entertained at the home of Mrs. L. C. Winslow on Saturday afternoon. after-noon. A very intcrestine review of the book "O River Remember" was given by Mrs. Reva Merkley. A delicous luncheon was served to the following members: Mrs. Ollie Schonian, Mrs. Florence Madsen, Mrs. Helen Mott, Mrs. Nellie Jones, Mrs. Reva Merkley, Mrs. Ilean Poulson, Mrs. Ruby Stephenson Steph-enson and the hostess. Mrs. Helen Odekirk spent Thankspivinf and thn work rnH in Salt Lake City visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Norbert Baum and other relatives. Mrs. Olen Rasmussen spent the past week in Tooele with her husband, hus-band, who is employed in defense work there. Mr. and Mrs. Troy Bailey spent the week end in Duchesne visiting with relatives. Mr. Bailey is serving ser-ving with the armed forces. Mrs. Bailey will be remembered as thel former Doris Fitzwater of Duchesne. Du-chesne. Duane Grant who is employed in Salt Lake City spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parry Grant. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart on Thanksgiving day were their daughter, Mrs Grace Dalgleish of Myton, and Mrs. Hart's two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor El-eanor LeBronte of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Emma Thomas of Tono-pah, Tono-pah, Nevada. Mrs. Mary S. Mcrrell of Salt Lake City was an overnight guest Friday night at the home of her son, Porter L. Merrell. Mrs. Mer-rell Mer-rell was enroute to her home from Vernal where she had been visiting visit-ing for a short time. Chris Cluff who is employed on defense work in Salt Lake City spent a few days with his family in Duchesne this week. Mrs. Roy Schonian and her father, Jess Johnstun went to Salt Lake City Sunday to visit Mr. Schonian who Is in the Holy Cross hospital. Orson Mott received word last week that his son, Boyd had arrived ar-rived safely in England with the armed forces. Miss Anna Stark, County Primary Pri-mary Supervisor spent Thanks-1 giving holiday with relatives in Utah county. Mrs. Thos. Guinn of Lyndel was q week end guest at the home of her brother, Edwin Carmen. |
