Show Uyion City News Section Lieutenant Dan Dennis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Dennis came home Tuesday. Dan is in the Air Force trailing in Texas with the RAF. Pfc. and Mrs. Ray Lamb are visiting Ray's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb while on his furlough. Ray is stationed at Chicago. Leland Hadden was among the boys who went to Salt Lake , Mrs. Dicks of Roosevelt. W. E. Broome is spending a week in Salt Lake City visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Owen Jack-mon Jack-mon and family and having his eyes treated. Mrs. Ray Thompson went to Salt Lake City Monday to receive re-ceive dental care, Mrs. James Paxman accompanied her and will visit her sisters while there. Mrs. Charles Quintana, Margaret Mar-garet and Grace Quintana were visiting in Roosevelt Monday. Mrs. Ada Williams and son went to Salt Lake City Thursday. Thurs-day. They have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wing the past week. Mr. and Mrs. George Funk, Miss Stella Jenkins and Private and Mrs. Jay Jenkins went to Salt Lake City Monday. Jay took the train for Farragut, Monday and Mr. Funk went to California to find work. The women wo-men came home Wednesday night. City last week for pre-induction physical examination Birthday Party-Mrs. Party-Mrs. Marion Mott gave a birthday party Sunday in honor I of Marge Mott's tenth birthday. The following were present. Ruth, Terry, Afton and Ray Adams, Ad-ams, Willis Darr, Gladys and Sherman Olsen, Deorrand De-' De-' Anne Parrish, Darlene Smith, Fern Clarke, LeRay and Lorna Reed, Jean Harris, Joan Crapo, Max and Mildred Tanner, Lula Cooper, LeRue Lydell, Albert and Viola Mott. The hostess, Mrs. Mott served refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Don Feller served serv-ed dinner to the following, Major Ma-jor John and Mrs. Kimball of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Eskclson and family of Gusher, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Fc-1-ter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Feller, Mr. and Mrs. Harry AuMiller and baby of Ouray, and Mrs. David Woods of Salt Lake City was visiting II. L. Crapo and family over the week end. Daun Crapo accompanied her grandmother to Salt Lake Monday. Mon-day. Elma Cox of Heber was visiting visit-ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elsworth Cox over the week end. Arthur Hurd of Independence, Kansas, left for his home Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. Hurd has been taking care of his nephew's estate, R. L. Hurd the past month. Mrs. A. E. Edwards returned home Saturdday from Las Vegas, Nevada, where she has been ! visiting her daughter, Etta and family and son, Alton. John L. Johnson left Friday to visit his brothers, Max D of Logan Lo-gan and Gus A. of Preston, Idaho. Ida-ho. Syrcl Dennis and son Norman went to Salt Lake City for the week end. They were accompanied accompan-ied by Eveline and Ruth Tcar-linck. Tcar-linck. Mrs. Dan Dennis came back with her son, Syrcl lor a visit. Mrs. Emery Nielson was visiting visit-ing relatives in Vernal Saturday. Mrs. Wesley Brummit and Mrs. Alvin Brummit went to Vernal Tuesday to visit Dolly who is in the hospital. Paul Egglcston came home from Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mrs, W. E. Burton went to Salt Lake City to visit her daughter, daugh-ter, Elizabeth of Oregon who is visiting in Sandy. . Edward S. Rich of Duchesne, editor and publisher of the Duchesne Du-chesne Record was here Saturday, Satur-day, Dr. and Mrs. R. C. Dalgleish and daughter, Ann of Salt Lake City were visiting Mr. and Mrs. 'James Dalgleish Friday. Mr. Dalgleish accompanied them to Salt Lake City to attend the Legion conference. Austin Cope of San Francisco is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Afton Richens and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gingell. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Fowler of Orcm brought their daughter, Mrs. Marvel Woods and family home Saturday. Mrs. Ted Thomas and daugh- I tcr of Price is visiting Mr. and I Mrs. Wallace Dennis. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Kronquist , of Ft. Duchesne were guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish Sundav evening. j Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd left for Twin Falls Tuesday to visit Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Adarquist, who were formerly of Myton. Dave Nordell and Harold Draper of Nine Mile visited here Tuesday taking cattle through for George Thomas. Miss Julia Graham, Miss Quanita Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Shanon Jones and son of Meeker Meek-er were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Graham Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bingham Bing-ham and family were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Max Jenson of Ioka. M.r. and Mrs. James Dalgleish were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart of Duchesne Sunday. |
