Mrs. Ina Mecnam and daughter, daugh-ter, Jean, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Evan Mecham, of Logan, Log-an, are taking an extended trip through Montana and other Northwestern states. They will visit Yellowstone National Park. Mary Ann Rogers, three-vear-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alford Rogers, was rushed from the Roosevelt hospital . to Salt Lake City last Thursday, where she is being treated for polio. Mr. and Mrs. Oral Thacker and small daughter, of. Mt. Home, Idaho, visited over the weekend at the home of Mr, Thacker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rawlins Thacker. Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers announce the engagement of their daughter, June, to Mr. Kenneth Carrol, of Upalco. A family reunion in honor of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Atwopd, of Salt Lake City, former residents of Mt. Emmons, was held over the weekend at Wolf Creek Park, 39 members of the family were present including Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wall and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Atwood and family, fam-ily, and Mr. and Mrs. LaRane Thacker and family, of Mt. Emmons; Em-mons; Mr. and Mrs. La Von Atwood At-wood and family, of Bluebell; and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hardman and family, of Salt Lake City; also a nephew, Lloyd Rasmussen, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cluff, of Stemaboat Springs, Colorado, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Wall. Mrs Cluff and Mrs. Wall are sisters' Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Fietkau are visiting at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Erwin Snow. Mr. Fietkau Fiet-kau has recently been discharged discharg-ed from the Army. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hanberg and family went to Salt Lake City last week, where they attended at-tended a Stanley family reunion. Glen Hanberg has received his discharge from the Navy. He is staying in Salt Lake for a few days. Bob Miles left Monday for : New York, where he will join ,the Merchant Marines. I : Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clubb, of California, spent the weekend in Mt. Emmons visiting with Mr Cluff's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Orr. Mr. and Mrs. Volney Boswell spent part of last week in 1-oca-tello, Idaho, where they met with other members of their family for a family reunion. A shower was given Saturday by Mrs. LeRoy Rust and Mrs. Harold Jones for ' Mrs. Cloyd Powell, the former Miss Fern Rust. Many beautiful and useful were Presented the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Birch Bennion and sons, Jay and Ray, Deanne Case, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Powell Pow-ell Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Orr, Dick and Colleen Orr, LaRae ' Waii and Mr. and Mrs. Ken iClulf spent Sunday at Moon , Lake. I Nile Smith spent last week tourning Provo, Salt Lake and Eranston, Wyoming. |
