Show Agriculture Head Defends Dairy Improvement Bill Since the 1945 Legislature passed House Bill 110, commonly common-ly known as the "Dairy Improvement Improve-ment Bill," this bill has become the subject of widespread controversy. con-troversy. Those who are not fully informed are rjasing out much information which is not true: others are definitely trying to discredit the bill and ts purposes. pur-poses. The bill was sonred by the State Dairy federation, an organization or-ganization composed of all the dairy interests of the state, with the main purpose in mind of improving im-proving the wholesomeness of all dairy products Inasmuch as the producing and oreoessinp of high quality dairy nroducts begin on the farm at the place where irnlk is produced the State Dairy federation has "auscd to be erected at the State Fairgrounds during the State State Fair a' model milk house ! for producers, also two (2) miniature min-iature model milk houses, as weir as two (2) miniature types of milking barns one adaDtable to the use of the small producers and 1:he other adaptable to the use of laree producers. Some of these models will be made in cutaway form, so they may be properly observed, as well as some with their tops on. V. A. Bergeson, commissioner of agriculture, has appealed to every dairyman within Utah to attend the State Fair and view the exposition of dairy equipment equip-ment and methods. A state dairy inspector will be in attendance at all times to give information and answer questions which any producer may ask. |
