Show Recreation News TENNIS Coach Clint Nelson asks that anyone interested in the forthcoming forth-coming tennis tournament contact con-tact him by Saturday, July 16. Tourney play will begin next Tuesday and, depending on the number of entrants, will continue con-tinue Thursday and Tuesday of the following week. SOFTBALL Teams from Ballard and Roosevelt Roos-evelt American Legion have joined local softball play, increasing in-creasing the league to six teams. A new schedule was in effect with Wednesday night's games. The league will play two rounds. Lions pJ.nycd Ashton's. Reynolds was against Co-op, and Ballard opposed the Legion. The Co-op had a five won, lost one record at the end of the old league's play. Ashton's was next with three won and three lost. Lions and Reynold's were tied for third with a two won, four lost record eqch. |
