A son of Gcorgp B. and Al-meadie Al-meadie McCurdy Bird, he was i I born at Vernal, March 17. 1907. The family moved to Arcadia in lyrj where mcy uvea unui 1924 when they moved to Park City. In tho rp.ring of 1925 Reaves R. Bird lived in Myton with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Niclson for five months while helping to build Mr. Nielson's service station. Since 1925 Reaves has been cm-nloyed cm-nloyed with the Silver King Mining Co. He was a member of the CIO Local No. 99. A resident res-ident of Park City for 22 years, Mr. Bird was an active member of the L. D. S. church. Surviving besides his widow, Birdie S. Bird, are two daughters daugh-ters and five sons: Lois May and Marge Jean Bird, Raymond A., Franklin D., Robert L., Tommie L., and Russell B. Bird, all of Park City; his father, George B. Bird, of Salt Lake Citv: five sisters and one brother, Charles Bird. Arcadia; Mrs. Sarah Nicl son, Myton; Mrs. Chrisloon Ross, Grccnrivcr; Mrs. Loretlo Gill Salt Lake City; Mrs. Kate Gincs. Kamas, and Mrs. Margaret Al-kinson, Al-kinson, San Francisco, California. Califor-nia. Burial was in the Park City cemetery. |
