Show " Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mrs. Lydia Peatross left last week to spend some time in Ft. Duchesne with" her daughter, Mrs. Paul Krause, and to visit with relatives in Vernal. Hor brother, Rodney Remington, visited vis-ited briefly in Myton, Wednesday while enroute to Vernal from his home in Tabor, Alberta, Canada. He will visit with Mrs. Pcatrcss in Vernal. . Mr. and Mrs. Mylan Bywater, of Clearfield, and Mr. and Mrs Wilson Bywater, of Salt Lake, .visited in Myton for a few days to be present at the birthdav an-Iniversary an-Iniversary party for their fathpr, ;J. R. Bywater. Miss Prima Smith left Sunday l for Salt Lake City, where she (will be employed as a film checker. Mr. and Mrs. Axel Pierson and Mrs. Emil Munz, of Duchesne, visited with Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish Monday afternoon while transacting business in Myton. My-ton. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Preece left Sunday for Salt Lake City to enjoy en-joy a short visit with relatives. Frank Defa was a Myton business busi-ness visitor Friday. . Robert Porritt returned Friday from a short trip to Salt Lake. Eyan Peterson came from Salt Lake City, Friday, to visit with his parents Mr. and Mrs.'l L Peterson, both of whom haye recently been quite ill. Last week climaxed the streak of (sickness when the youngest son, Dale, was rushed to the hospital at Roosevelt suffering with appendicitis. ap-pendicitis. The youngster is now getting along nicely. The Parent - Teachers' Assoc. held a special birthday parts Monday evening at the Myton school auditorium, under the direction of Mrs. Aften Richens, PTA president. Commemorating the 52nd anniversary of the PTA, Monday night's turn-out was the largest on record. A feature of the evening was the parents visit at each of the classrooms attended at-tended by their children, where students presented demonstration lessons. Appearing on the program pro-gram were Dr. C. O. Jensen, of Roosevelt, who lectured on "Care of the Teeth;" Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee who talked on the His-of His-of the PTA;" and Ronald Lisonbee, Lison-bee, who sang a vocal solo. A delicious luncheon terminated the evening. |
