Show USAC Receives New Hereford Sire LOGAN Utah Agricultural College, here, soon will put into service a new Hereford herd sire of Advance A Domino breeding, a gift frob Bear Claw Ranch, Daton, Wyo. The bull, presented to the college col-lege by R. E. (Smokey) Leone, Bear Claw manager, is BCR Advance Ad-vance A ' 16th, by Advance A Domino and out of BCR Miss Advance A, the 1943 Denver champion female. The new sire will join a number num-ber Of Bear Claw cattle already in the Aggie herd. At the Hereford Here-ford ranch's 1947 sale, Dr. L. L. Madsen, head of the college husbandry hus-bandry department, bought several sev-eral Bear Claw females. The college col-lege also had in use a Denver champion son of Advance Domino Dom-ino 140th. During the past few months, Dr. Madsen has been seeking another an-other Bear Claw sire, and his extreme ex-treme interest prompted Leone to offer the young herd sire as a gift to the college. |
