Show IOKA (Mrs. Bertha Angus) :G5b3sXc Mr. and Mrs. Walker of Salt Lake City visited Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percival Tuesday. Mrs. Walker was Pricilla Finn, a missionary mis-sionary companion of Eeulah Percival's. Dee Drollinger left Tuesday to return to California, after visiting visit-ing at home for 7 days. Dee is serving with the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Winterton have returned home after an extended ex-tended visit in California. Evan Percival made a business bus-iness trip to Salt Lake Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy were visitors in Vernal Sunday. Reed Lemon went to Peoa, Saturday to see his parents. Mrs. Lemon's health is not very good. Mr. and Mrs. Mussel Hardman visited Mr. and Mrs. Angus Monday. Mon-day. Mr. Hardman and wife are j spending a 19 day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles I Hardman, after which he will return to Pennsylvania. He has served two and one half years in the Navy and re-inlisted last month. Mrs. Geneive Carruth is visiting visit-ing with relatives in Vernal. The community entertained Thursday night for Harold Miles and Weslie Washburn, who have received their discharge from the Army. Ten young couples from here went to Roosevelt Saturday night to practice the MIA dance. The Relief Society was re-organized Sunday. Zelma Lloyd, Dresident, and councelors, Eva Miles and Nancy Drollinger and secretary, Edna Drollinger were released. Edna Drollinger was nut in as president with Myrtle Faucett and Theora Gledhill councelors and MaDonna Lemon as secretary. Charles Ray Angus of Latuda is visiting with his grand partens, Mr. and Mrs. John Angus. Charles has his discharge after serving four years in the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Jamea B. Lemon entertained at a family dinner Sunday. All of their children were present including Mrs; Floral Davis of Salt Lake and three children, . Mr. and Mrs. Glen Morrill and three children of Lordsbury, New Mexico, Mrs. I Edna Peterson and three children of Duchesne, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Lemon and three children and Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Lemon and daughter, of Ioka. Vera Ames has returned with his discharge after serving in the Pacific. |
