Show MYTON (Mrs. Emery Nielson) E. M. 2-c Billy Preece and Colleen Col-leen Pitty went to Salt Lake City Sunday. Billy will visit until Tuesday then he will leave for his station in Washington . Roland Krebs Sr. went to Salt ' Lake City Friday to visit his family. His son, Fireman John Krebs was recently discharged from the Navy. He served thirty-two thirty-two months in the Pacific arca. The American " Legion and Auxiliary met Friday in separate meetings, the Auxiliary at the home of Miss Alice Todd and the Legion at the Biggs building. After the business meetings the ladies joined the Legionnaires Legion-naires at the Bigg's building where a buffett supper was served. serv-ed. A card party in honor of the Twenty Seventh anniversary of the American Legion will be held near March 15th at the Bigg's building. The Friday Bridge club met at the home of Mrs. Bliss Lott. The following were present, Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mrs. E. V. Kronquist, Mrs. Wm. Koehler, Mrs. Ed Ponton, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. Wm. Linck and Mrs. James Dalgleish. LaVar Peterson returned Friday Fri-day from Salt Lake City; where he attended a bee keeper's convention. con-vention. Gladys Artego of Cedarvicw was a week end guest of Elnora Quantana. Mr. and Mrs. Ren Fenn of Roosevelt were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Muse on Sunday. Mrs. Merrill Lisonbee and family fam-ily moved to their ranch at Pleasant Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Krissman are moving into the Lisonbee home. Betty Roth of Vernal visited her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koehler, last week end. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Urcsk and daughter, of Scoffield visited Mr. and Mrs. Matt Urcsk over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Neilson and little son visited Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Adams Friday thru Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis, and son, Norman, were in Upalco Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Clayton and family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts. George Baker of Salt Lake City visited his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Fausett, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Krissman of Helper visited Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Krissman over the week end. Jack Calvert, Jr., and Tranny Calvert visited friends here last week end. Mrs. Lee Cooper and daughter, Anna Hunt, went to Salt Lake City Tuesday where Mrs. Cooper will see a doctor. ' |
