Show r.lyton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mrs. Frank Adams and Mrs. Aldon Fenn entertained Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at a bridal shower at the Adams home, complimentary complimen-tary to Mrs. Lowell Bingham, a recent bride. Present were Mrs. Wesley Jensen, Mrs. Hayden Cooper, Mrs. Acel Bingham, I Mrs. LaVor Dennis, Mrs. Vernal! Muse, Mrs. M. C. Adams, Mrs. Ole Peterson, Mrs. George Funk, Mrs. Clarence Liddell, Mrs. Owen Ow-en Bingham of Provo, a sister of the bride of honor. Mrs. W. H. Linck was hostess i to members of the Friday Bridge club at her home Friday afternoon. Bridge was enjoyed by Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. William Koehler, Mrs. Homer Robinson, Miss Anna Hunt, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. Wm. Preece and Miss Alice Todd. High score was won by Mrs. Dalgleish. The monthly social meeting of the American Legion and Auxiliary, Aux-iliary, Wm. R. Sands Post and Unit No. 5, drew a large crowd to the Barracks Friday evening. Miss Betty Jenson, who was sponsored by this unit to attend r'Girls' State," gave an interesting interest-ing talk to a joint meeting of Legion and Auxiliary members, telling of her experiences at "Girls' State." Cards were enjoyed en-joyed later in the evening, followed fol-lowed by a pot luck supper. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson entertained Saturday . evening complimentary to Miss Anna Hunt, who left Wednesday for Salt Lake City. A delicious supper sup-per was served to Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mr. Lee Cooper, Miss Alice Todd .and Miss Hunt. Bridge f urnishecv the I evening's entertainment, with prizes awarded to Miss Hunt and I Mrs. Linck. Vern Muse returned Thursday from Salt Lake City after completing com-pleting his barber's training. He has accepted a position at the Lawson Barber Shop in Duchesne until he can open a shop in My-ton. My-ton. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Partridge Part-ridge and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Harris Har-ris were guests Saturday evening at the ranch home of Mrs. J. D. Wimmer, where they joined a group frQm. Duchesne in a surprise sur-prise party commemorating Mrs. Wimmer's birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Preece are anticipating a visit this week from their daughter, Miss Edith Nell Preece, who will come from San Francisco for a short visit before leaving to work in Japan. I Miss Anna Hunt left Wednesday Wednes-day for Salt Lake City, where she will spend the Thanksgiving holidays with relatives before going go-ing to Columbus, Georgia to make her home. Miss Hunt has made a host of friends since coming com-ing to Myton who sincerely regret re-gret her departure. |
