Show BPWTo Hear Noted British Speaker At District Meet In keeping with Business and Professional Women's .Week in Utah which has been proclaimed by the Governor, the Uintah Basin district of the BPW will hold its annual autumn convention conven-tion at -Vernal, Sunday, October 10. Luncheon at 2 p. m. In the ernaL Hotel dining room will precede the official opening of the convention. "We Face Tomorrow" has been . adopted as the motto of Business and Professional Women's Wo-men's clubs throughout the nation na-tion for the year. The scheduled program for the Vernal meet has been planend to correspond with this slofian. Mrs. Naocy Anderson, of Great Britain, an internationally known figure in BPW circles will be the honored guest and principal prin-cipal speaker. Her topic will be, "Life in Britain." Station KJAM will broadcast Mrs. Anderson's An-derson's address between 3:30 and 4 p. m-. Sunday. As vice-president of the International Inter-national Relations Club, Business Busi-ness and Professional Women of Europe, Mrs. Anderson is currently cur-rently touring the United States filling speaking engagements, under the auspicies of the IRC. She recently completed a trip through the Scandanavian countries coun-tries where she was instrumental in effecting the organization of Business and Professional Women's Wo-men's clubs. Her presence at and participation participa-tion in the Uintah BPW fall convention con-vention is considered by state and local club leaders as a stand-out event in their organization's organ-ization's history. Officers of the Business and Professional Wo-j Wo-j men's clubs of Utah will accompany accom-pany Mrs. Anderson to Vernal. |
