Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish The Friday Bridge club sponsored spon-sored a luncheon Friday afternoon after-noon at the Cooper cafe, honor-in&- Mrs. W. H. Koehler, a former form-er club member, who is now residing re-siding in Vernal. A long table was beautifully decorated with fall flowers. Places were set for Mrs. Koehler, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. R. H. Bur-dick, Bur-dick, Mrs. W. H. Davenport, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. Rex Lamb. Mrs. W, H. Linck, Mrs. William Preece, Mrs. Theodore Thomas and Mrs. W. R. Harris. Bridge was enjoyed enjoy-ed later at the Preece home. High score went to Mrs. Floyd Lamb. Mrs. Koehler was presented a guest prize. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, Mr. and Mrs. Del Combs and son, Gary and Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Barton, of Duchesne, were Sunday dinner din-ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. The occasion celebrated celebrat-ed Mr. Hart's birthday anniversary. anniver-sary. Visitors at the Arthur Brian home last week were Mrs. Brian's father, Frank Ingalsbee, of Grand Junction, Colo., and her brother, Glen (Bud) Ingals-bee, Ingals-bee, of Provo. Pvt. Harry Jakcman visited Tuesday through Sunday with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bywa-ter Bywa-ter and his grandparents. Mr. and , Mrs. W. E. Broome. He also vis-1 ited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Jakeman, in Salt Lake, before going to his new station at Camp Lee, Va. Mrs. Milton Lott returned Friday from Salt Lake City, where she visited relatives, and met her first grandson, who was born Monday, Sept. 19, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Tolboe enjoyed a week's visit from their daughter, Mrs. Arleigh Hall, who came from Inglewood, Calif. She left Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. George Burgen-' Burgen-' er, former Myton residents, were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart. The Burgener family fam-ily moved to Richmond, Calif., in 1945. Mrs. W. H. Koehler, of Vernal, visited Friday and Saturday at the Bliss Lott home. Wesley Brummett, young son of Mrs. Alice Brummett. suffered suffer-ed a compound fracture of the forearm, Sunday afternoon, when he fell from a horse near the H. L. Crapo ranch. He was immediately rushed to the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital, and will remain there for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krebs, Jr. and small daughter, of Salt Lake City, visited Sunday at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. H. I L. Crapo. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Leigh, of Orem, are visiting Mrs. Leigh's parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart on north Myton bench. Miss Anna Hunt arrived Sunday Sun-day from Salt Lake to visit Mr. Lee Cooper and Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Cooper. Howard Davenport, Jr.. Ralph McPherson, John Babcock, Norman Nor-man Tanner and Arlen Goodrich, members of the Ag class at Roosevelt Roos-evelt high, took in the sights at the Utah State Fair, Friday and I Saturday. |
