Krug On Echo Park J. A. Krug, secretary of the interior, voiced opposition to construction of the Echo Park dam in Green River, 35 miles northeast of Vernal, Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Glenwood Springs, Colorado. . Disagreeing with the Utah officials of-ficials who met with him in the hope of pushing early construction construc-tion of the vital project, Krug said, "We will not allow the flooding of a national park." If the people of the intermoun-tain intermoun-tain area want water from the Echo Park site, Krug explained, the Dinosaur park area must be eliminated.
