Show State Officers Honored At Joint Jaycee Gathering THE Roosevelt and Vernal Jaycees joined forces in Roosevelt Roose-velt Saturday evening to honor State Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce President W. Hughes Brockbank, and Vice President Alvin L. Hart. Mr. Brockbank, ?s guest speaker reported on the recent Javcee international convention held at Dallas, Texas. President Brockbank reported thnt 32 foreign countries were represented at the convention, and stressed the imnortant rolp yonntr men are olayinc throughout through-out the world in creating neace and eood will in world affairs. The fact that 32 voune mn from every corner of the globe wre in attendance at the convention was eiven as evidence bv Mr. Brockbank that younu men are taking a lead in international matters. Mrs. DiUman told the complete com-plete story of the relics and discussed dis-cussed general Indian lore. OTHER joint meetings of the Roosevelt and Vernal Javcees were Planned at Saturdav's session, ses-sion, with the succession being offered that they be made quarterly quar-terly events. ' Thp Vernal proup announmd that it is now planning a 'publication 'publi-cation in cooperation with the Centennial committer The booklet, book-let, according to the Vernal club officers, will feature the recreational recrea-tional facilities and the resources resour-ces of the Uintah Basin. Thi publication will be distributed throuehout the Un?tvi States with other Centennial literature.
