Show Fort Duchesne Mrs. Donna Burgess Willard Lott, Extension Division Di-vision supervisor for the Uintah and Ouray Indian Agency, and his family returned, Saturday from Logan, where Mr. Lott has been attending the 28th annual 4-H Club Leadership Training school at the Utah State Agricultural Agri-cultural college. While in Logan Mr. Lot and family were guests of Mrs. Lots' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tueller. Mrs. Ida Phillips. Uintah county coun-ty supervisor for Elementary schools, was a visitor at Fort Duchesne, Friday. Mrs. Forest Stone, Mrs. Wm. L. Simpson and Eva Haas, In dian Agency Welfare supervisors, super-visors, spent three days last week on business. I. S. Eksund, foreman of building construction at the Uintah Uin-tah and Ouray Indian Agency, has resigned because of ill health. He and Mrs. Eksund will leave soon for Manti, Utah, where they expect to make their home. Axel Anderson, of Roosevelt, has accepted the position left va-1 cant by Mr, Eksund's resignation. resigna-tion. Mrs. Florence Stiles, of White-rocks, White-rocks, was a guest of Mrs. E. Faulkner, Saturday and Sunday. Willard Lot and Paul Kraus left Sunday morning for the KHbab Forest Reservation on official business. Mrs. Kraus accompanied ac-companied her husband. I Superintendent Stone, Mrs. Stone and William Gutzman, head of the Uintah and Ouray Forestry division, are in Phoenix this week. Mr. Stone and Mr. Gutzman are there on official business. Mrs. Stone is accompanying accom-panying her husband. Russel Cuch, Conner Cha-poose Cha-poose and John Pawwinnee were elected tribal committeemen in the recent elections held in the Uintah and Ouray tribal council. The Ft, Duchesne store, owned own-ed by Ross Iorg, is being remodeled re-modeled and repainted. The regular monthly meeting of the Ft. Duchesne Parent-Teachers Parent-Teachers Association, was held Monday night at the school house. A program followed the business meeting. Refreshments were served to those present. Dr. and Mrs. C. L. Piper left Ft. Duchesne Tuesday morning to make their home in St. George, where Dr. Piper will be employed as a member of the local hospital staff. |
