Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish ! i Miss Margaret Mary Harris 1 was hostess to a group of friends, ! Monday evening in celebration of her 17th birthday anniversary. 1 A weiner roast was enjoyed during dur-ing the early evening, after which the group returned to the Harris home for refreshments and games. Present were LaRue Linck, Nancy Todd, Arba Gin-gell, Gin-gell, Alice Sands, Marguerite Monks, Mary Lee Mortensen, l Nina Babcock, Betty Jenson and Dorothy Stone. Visitors at the Wesley Jenson home are Mr. and Mrs. Aaron i Larson and two sons, of San Diego, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gentry 'ar-rived 'ar-rived last week from East St. ) I Louis, Illinois to visit at the fi home of Mr. Gentry's parents, a Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry. . Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb and I Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson returned Wednesday from a two fl weeks vacation in the Northwest-)j Northwest-)j ern states. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Todd home, leaving j Saturday for Pueblo, Colo, with f his wife and four children, who Ihave been visiting with her grandparents. Mrs. Sim's mother, moth-er, Mrs. George Phillips, of New York City, accompanied them to Pueblo. She has been visiting here during the past month, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Walker and daughter, Jean, arrived Friday from Salt Lake City to spend the July 4th vacation with Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. They returned home Saturday evening. eve-ning. Mrs. Olive Slater, of San Bernardino, Calif., is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Milner, called here by the serious illness of her father. Mrs. Edna Wallace, another daughter, arrived Thursday from Meeker, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Broome spent the weekend with Mr. Broome's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Broome. Margaret Harris was a weekend week-end guest of Dorothy Stone at Fort Duchesne. Mrs. George Tanner left last week for Salt Lake City to visit at the home of her son and I daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. I Albert Tanner, and to accom-)pany accom-)pany them to Pocatello, Idaho to spend the 4th of July weekend with her daughter, Mrs. J. B. Taylor. Visitors at the Matt Uresk home on July 4th were Mr. and Mrs. Willie Krissman, of Vernal; Mr. and Mrs. John Krissman, Mr. ' and Mrs. J. S. Krissman and Dr. and Mrs. Wm. Gorishek,of Helper, Hel-per, and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Mig-laccio, Mig-laccio, of Price. A. C. Tolboe left Wednesday for Afton, Wyoming, where he joined a party of friends for a fishing trip. Cherrill Wardle, who has been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aldon Fenn, left Mon-i day for Heber. Mr. and Mrs. Ashcl Bingham, Lowell Bingham, Bill Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. LaVor Dennis and daughters, came from Fish Lake to spend the weekend in Myto.n. The men of the party are employed em-ployed on a construction project near Fish' Lake. The Myton and Bennett baseball base-ball teams entertained the baseball base-ball fans Saturday when a rather one-sided game was completed with a score of 23 to 7 in favor of Myton. To date the Myton team has not lost a game in the series played with members of the Uintah Basin Baseball League. Some games are being planned with teams from other parts of the state. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krebs Sr. and sons, John and David, of Salt Lake City, were weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Odekirk and family came from Salt Lake City to spend the July 4th holidays holi-days with relatives. Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. Kenneth Tinsley and baby and Mrs. Roland Ro-land Burdick were dinner guests at the Lee Cooper home cn July 4 th. .j Philipp Todd spent a few days visiting with Wayne Jennings at the Jennings ranch near Bridge-land. Bridge-land. Mrs. Alvin Brummitt and infant in-fant daughter returned from the Roosevelt hospital, Sunday. Wintworth Mott, who is employed em-ployed at Lamoille, Nevada, came home during the 4th of July holidays to visit with his wife and son. Hillary Holder and son, Larry, of Salt Lake, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Harris over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krebs, Jr. and baby spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Crapo. Mrs. Kenneth Tinsley and son, Tommie, who have been visiting with her mother, Mrs. Bliss Lott, during the past two months, left Tuesday morning for their home in Los Angeles, California. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Krissman and children left Tuesday for Salt Lake City. While there they will take their small son to a specialist. |
