Show Shooters Ready Trap Grounds For Opening Meet The Roosevelt Trap Club completed com-pleted its organization Tuesday evening, and announced that the traps now under construction south of town would be ready for use the forepart of next week. Committees named at the July 8 meeting are: Team Commit-tee Commit-tee Albert Crumbo, Ed Labrum and Lynn Nickell; Reception committee Jay W. Ginn, Wayne Malin, Howard Harrison, Clair Larsen and Les Mullins; Entertainment Enter-tainment Committee Harry Sprouse, Steve Bellon, Bill Sutteer, Sut-teer, Clem Labrum and Dick Adams. The date for the opening shoot, which will officially dedicate the xiew trap grounds, has been set for July 27 at 10 a. m. with teams from Price, Salt Lake City, Heber, Vernal and Roosevelt competing. An outboard motor, donated by Albert Crumbo. will be given away the day of the shoot. The motor was won by Crumbo at the recent Price, meet. Membership in the Roosevelt Trap club is rapidly filling up. Teams to represent the local aggregation will be selected, and it has been announced that trap coats with the figure of a pheasant pheas-ant adorning the backs have been selected as the official shooting uniform of the club. |
