Show Miners Scrap With Murray Fri. Night Another classic is expected In the hoop circle to-morrow night when the undefeated Bingham Hi quint will meet Murray Hi In the tatter's gymnasium in the fifth ' game of the season. The locals have met and defeated every team lu Division Five, except Murray, whom they play to-morrow evening. To say the rivalry will be keen is putting it mildly. The locals will be fighting to kee their score unmarr-ed unmarr-ed while the Smelterltes will be Just as determined to overcome the one game lead and tie for first honors hon-ors in the division and it hapens that Murray is the only team that has a chance to tie for this position posi-tion in this week's encounter. It is I j expected that several hundred fans will accompany IcMullin's boys to the valley to witness this game and urge for another victory. The game with Jordan last week was declared to be one of the best ever witnessed on the local floor and every available niche of space in the gym was occupied. Coach Ballard's boys are a classy lot and I at times showed remarkable speed J and teamwork. Three long and per- feet shots from toward centre by La co rub early in the game was the only grave threat to the locals however, how-ever, although the visitors fought them hard to the last gun. To name the outstanding players In the local team for this game we would have to mention Bolle, Pitch-ios. Pitch-ios. Church, Vlassic and Harker. The game was not only fast but a very clean game, very few fouls being called. Jordan's second team nosed out the Bingham Juniors 10-13 10-13 In the curtain raiser. Referee; Simons.
