OVIATT California Rites Announcement is made of the marriage of Diane Keever of Oakland, Calif, and Thomas (Tom) L Oviatt, former Farm-ington Farm-ington resident, now living in Concord, Calif. DIANE IS the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Keever City, served as best man and ushers were Kevin Holbrook and Ken Piercy. A BRIDAL shower was hosted by Cecile Scribner in Santa Rosa. Diane attended BYU in Pro-vo Pro-vo and Tom graduated from Davis High School and attended USU. He has fulfilled an LDS mission in southern California. THE COUPLE honeymooned hon-eymooned in Puerto Vallerta, Mexico and will make their home in Oakland, Calif. The newlyweds came to Farmington for several days to visit with Tom's parents. There was an open house held for them on April 16 in the old Miller home in Farmington. Out-of-town guests were Jim and Penny Curb, Hayden Lake, Ida. Penny is a niece of Thelma Oviatt. Mr. Curb took pictures of the honored guests and those attending the open house. They also visited for several days before returning home, kj of Santa Rosa, Calif. Tom's parents are Julian and Thelma Oviatt of Farmington. The couple was married April 3, 1982 in the Oakland LDS Temple. A wedding dinner din-ner was held at the Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton, Calif, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hemming. A reception honored the couple hosted by the bride's parents in Santa Rosa. An open house was held April 16 in Farmington. THE BRIDE selected a gown of white lace and organza organ-za with finger tip sleeves, high neckline and medium length train caught in a bustle at the back. Her elbow-length veil was scalloped on the edges and she carried a bouquet of gardenias, garde-nias, white roses and stepha-notis. stepha-notis. Arlene Daley was the maid of honor and bridesmaids were Lee Ann Keever and Nancy Schroder. THE MOTHER of the bride chose a lavendar chiffon gown with a corsage of gardenias, white roses and stephanotis. The mother of the groom selected a cream colored and rust ensemble.
