Show 1 ish 9 khame plans r 12 will elect officers at session to be held tonight in armory A buffet luncheon will be the feature of the meeting of the sevier county fish and game protective association tonight thursday at 8 in the national guard armory according to dr R S bell secretary officers for the year will be elected and plans for 1938 will be discussed present officers are frank G martines Martin cs president B C luth lut b vice president and dr bell secretary tary president martines will submit his annual report and suggest new projects the major project last year was the construction of an egg eyeing station at fish lake to handle the rainbow trout eggs that are taken before the road to the lake is open this has been completed in cooperation with the state fish and game department and will be put in use within the next few weeks local sportsmen estimate that eggs will be saved or taken by use of the station that are otherwise lost it will also be an economy move for the state department part ment inasmuch as the expense of hauling the eggs from the lake to the glenwood and aid other hatcheries in small lots has been costly it is planned to eye the eggs under the supervision of warden W C at the lake and then transport them elsewhere for hatching eyed eggs can be transported without loss whereas green eggs suffer through the hauling the local association also sponsored the summer outing of the state sportsmens sports mens association at fish ish lake last august president Nl martines artines urges all members and visitors to attend the meeting |
