Show bingham Bin grham firemen still appreciate local hospitality anything at a convention in the way of praise eulogy or resolutions of thanks appreciation or what have you can usually be set down as a part of the customary order of business and swallowed with a grain af pf of salt such expressions sound good at the time which Is all that is expected of them occasionally however they are spoken in all sincerity and that the memory of warm hospitality and a gracious host does sometimes linger on is evidenced by the following resolutions adopted recently at a joint meeting of the two bingham volunteer fire departments a copy of which was received this week by mayor W L warner wamer whereas at the 1934 fire convention ven tion which was held at richfield our firemen and citizens had a most enjoyable convention whereas mayor W L warner wamer in his bis speech and action showed our delegation his most loyal support whereas the people of richfield were very hospitable we therefore resolve to send to his honor mayor W L warner wamer a remembrance this is the only way we have to show our appreciation for all he be did to make our stay in richfield most enjoyable with the copy of the resolutions earl T james president of the bingham firemen sent mr warner a large framed picture of bingham canyon and a paper weight made from copper mined there just another bit of evidence that Rich fields reputation as the convention city is growing |
