father W E thurber from two to six saturday afternoon A color scheme of pink and white was carried out in the dining room the tea table held a lace banquet cloth over pink and was centered with pink roses attractively arranged in a crystal basket at each end of which were pink candles in crystal holders miss bliss gwen ashman poured she was assisted in serving by misses mae and maza christensen miss marian bean had charge of the dining room while the rooms in which the trousseau was displayed were in c harge charge of misses ora gledhill and elise hayes the guests were entertained during the afternoon with vocal solos by mrs florence anderson and mrs helen poulson and piano selections by miss melba cope guests called miss lerina lenna thurber a sister of the bride elect and miss bessie
