| Show owner of famous cow announced by third ward all sections of 01 the community were re represented resented at the cleverly arra arranged n gen program ram held in the new third w ward a c hapel chapel tuesday evening as the opening social of the M I 1 A of that ward vard some persons not heretofore noted for clowning exhibitions came in for such honors when taylor thurber announced guy lewis as the winner of the now famous cow donated by roy christensen whiz which the third ward has been selling as a means of raising funds for their chapel the price brought by this gentle creature should create quite a sensation in the stock market in spite of the fact that she is rather a high priced cow mr lewis generously gave her back to the ward for a resale re sale her future owner to be announced at the formal opening of the chapel on september 24 if f she continues to fall into the lands hands of such generous masters she will soon live up to what thurber expects of her apay pay for or the ward chapel and take us back ack to missouri preceding the dance the following program was presented ballet lance dance mary louise winer ter followed by a tap dance by miss aliss winter and reed Kas mussen vocal trio misses floy hansen leah and juana peterson remarks J R barker vocal solo miss ruby thurber Thur comic reading the charm of blue eyes miss aliss ora gledhill hill |
