Show EIGHTY ll 11 S large crowd witnessed splendid program in tabernacle the large crowd assembled in the sevier stake tabernacle monday evening found pleasure in witnessing the I 1 splendid program arranged by the sevier stake relief society in commemoration me of the eighty eighth anniversary niver sary of the organization of the I 1 relief society the program the I 1 major part of which consisted of pageantry was presented as outlined in a pre seiw in our last issue one pageant depicted the activities of sirs mrs emmeline B wells who in t her advanced years was represented by mrs airs emma ogden as gleaner by J mrs airs may gledhill and as school i teacher by mrs merle brugger of venice miss nial nelson who wrote 1 the pageant directed it and acted as reader another pageant directed by mrs florence tate had as its theme service to god fellowman Fel lowman and country personified by characters in in grecian costume and was climaxed when liberty libei ty entered the scene followed by a boy scout carrying the american flag the pageant was concluded by a leading how I 1 love That flap flag by mrs S R bowel boswell who acted as reader for the entile pageant the relief society chorus furnished the music A one act play itlie th e miracle was directed by mrs elizabeth ogden with tile following cast mrs airs manila christensen mis oliver barlow mrs joseph johnson ervin ogden and dean bell I 1 other program numbers were an all address of welcome by mrs E W poulson stake relief society president an organ solo by mrs W C ellis a vocal duet by mrs otto L anderson and mrs L A poulson and a violin solo by J G hilgen dort |
