or three hundred dollars to equip the teim team so 0 o the future looked black for football enthusiasts but coach davis was not to be so beaten last weekend lie went to sit salt lake there thene he went from one retail store to another anil and bought up their sample suits suil z in this way he obtained eleven sweaters swea tei teis and thirteen pairs of pants for about seventy dollars this is address which closed the program while the refreshments were being served e d bishop C E peterson and hal felt Fel under the name of dr s and partner put over a clever little stunt they rigged up a contraption to represent a sausage grinder and advertised verti sed that they rejuvenated women for fifteen cents the stunt was very verv cleverly put over and afforded the audience a good many laughs now in sacramento school coach rufus V richardson who taught athletics in north sevier for two years is now coaching in a high school in sacramento california coach richardson went from north sevier to grantsville Grants ville where he has been the past two years aing out to sacramento this fall to take up his duties there graduate working As secretary in high school miss bessie jackson who was grad from north sevier last spring is working as secretary in principal dan bakers balo raj office in the high school miss bliss jackson has bali had that position before and is a first class wor worker lEer 4 H club of salina wins wing prize at fair the second v year ear group of the 4 H club in salina was the prize winner at the county fair held last week winning first prize in the salad s demonstration on miss millie Don domgaard igaard and miss rhea crane were the gills entered in the contests contest q they ana made e four salads and two dressings winning in the contest against about started monday the registration of high school students stood at one hundred seventy which is not so bad for the foul fourth th day lay of school for there are always sorn some who cant get in at the first of the term in the enrollment of the classes were 51 54 5 1 freshmen 23 boys and 31 gills this number is 16 less than the number of students graduating from the eighth grade last laa spring the sophomores number 44 11 14 1 1 boys and 30 girls the juniors number 36 20 of that number boys and 16 girls 36 is the number of seniors for the first we week ek of school with only 11 boys in tile tho
