Show I 1 TEASDALE by special correspondent I 1 0 0 n world war veteran laid to rest funeral services were held in ahe I 1 teasdale ward amusement hall saturday forenoon for or coleman snow 31 34 son of chas snow sr who passed away wednesday as a result of disabilities abilities all acquired during the world war bishop guss williams officiated and the teasdale ward choir assisted by members of the bicknell choir furnished the music the mus musical selections included the lord is is my bly light and rock of ages by the choir blessed be the name of god and another selection by a quartet composed of S H Chi chidester fester R L brown mrs airs reta beta bleeks and mrs laverde ellett the funeral march was played by S H chidester violinist with mrs airs chidester at the piano words of eulogy for the departed atres stressing chis ing his service in the world war his active church work and his patience and faith during his long illness were spoken by W E hanks geo chappel sr president webster and president R D young of the sevier stake the invocation was offered by IV H morrell and the benediction by president geo T eckersley the casket draped with the stars star and stripes was banked with a profusion of flowers A long ing cortege of cars followed the remains to the city cemetery where the grave was dedicated by willard snow vern snow G C brinkerhoff E H coombs francis lyman J E parker and niel forsythe acted as e ers rs coleman snow was drafted into t the he service of his country in may 1918 and served in the division of the infantry regiment he received an W honorable discharge and returned home in may oi of the following y year ear jie he was in active service in france abc the argonne forest and chateau thierry while in the service he contracted jhb disease which after years oi af suffering culminated in his death an fn in vite byh e of the best of medical rare care ife he was w as in the government hospitals at denver colorado and fort bayard N rew new met ico for fourteen months doctors pronounced the trouble arthritis th last october he was attacked with ft partial paralysis is and since ince then his condition has grown steadily worse the deceased is survived by his father chas snow sr two brothers charles snow jr of monta monticello cello and 91 vern snow of teasdale alive sisters sister miss ann snow afi of wayne school di district strict mrs geo C cj brinkerhoff of bicknell mm francis lyman of boulder mrs mn J E parker of joseph and mrs E H coombs af pf apfl boulder local and personal mr and sirs birs volney king with one son 1 n and a daughter of kaysville Kays ville have tc been 1 en spending several days visiting relatives in teasdale and torrey returning home friday mrs joseph hickman and family motored to torrey thursday night luncheon and roasted pine nuts were enjoyed on the torrey rim with reja rea tives and friends friend 3 from torrey |
