of students I 1 who have ten tell points during a term will be exhibited on honor rolls this ic commendation was act adopted opted tuesday of last week by the faculty in its meeting mr anderson anderso n mr air baker and miss aliss the faculty members who made the recommendation suggest that be two honor rolls in north sevier one will consist of the A students and the other of the students who have made some definite progress during the term the name of any student who has made three As in unit subjects during the term who has no grade lower than a C and who carries not less than four units of credit will be placed upon the A honor roll the progress honor roll will consist of the names of students who have advanced from a D to C from a C to a B or from a B to an A these students must also carry at least four units of credit the cards of all students were handed ban to mr baker friday from these mr air baker will compile the lionor honor rolls which will be posted and published next week this recognition of scholastic attainment attain eilent of students will come as a surprise to the students as no announcements at all have been made of these lolls bolls mr baker has been urging the adoption of sonie some sort of honor system since eaily last fall but so many other activities of the school needed attention filst that this matter was de until the beginning of exercises students pledge themselves to support yell master A special meeting of the student body was held thursday at ten thirty to consider the resignation of allen alien barnard the yell master who had handed in his resignation to the stu dent body officers ceis monday of last week allen alien said lie had resigned because tile the students did not support him at the games he declared that a few girls did all the yelling velling while the boys acted as if they were not even members of the student body after a healthful discussion of the situation lead by kenneth olsen stu dent body and
