Show commercial club has distinguished visitor i the commercial club luncheon held at smiths cafe monday noon was a very enjoyable affair for the reason that a distinguished guest mrs annie pike greenwood honored the merchants with her presence and addressed them in a very interesting manner another prominent feature of the luncheon was vas a soprano solo by mrs L A poulson accompanied by I 1 mrs ars anna callaway the attendance this week was not as good as usual for the reason that all of our attorneys have gone to salt lake city to attend a gathering of the utah state bar association and many merchants were too busy with taking their annual inventories inventor iea and for this reason could not attend that in spite of these facts the attendance included twenty members shows that the commercial club luncheon is becoming a well established institution there was no business transacted but the attention of those present was called to the regular meeting to he held thursday evening at the commercial club rooms at which elections election will ill be held to fill the vacancies caused by the retirement leti rement of directors H H petersen K hep i pier and C J sumner whose terms expired |
