U of U studies tubercular cattle tubercular cattle of utah are being studied by the department of bacteriology teri at the university of utah and it is hoped that some knowledge will be gained through the study which will help to control the spread of this disease among the cattle of the state according to dr L L daines head of the bacteriology department part ment of the university this study is being tarried carried on by the state institution through the courtesy of the united states department of agriculture A number of specimens of the saih lesions of cattle which had to be killed because of being tubercular are now at the university and zm are being studied A scientific study of these as well as many other specimens will vill be made assisting the dentists dentist of salt lake city in a study of ulcerations which often follow the killing of nerves of teeth the university bacteriology department part ment has demonstrated how heart trouble and other affections result front from infections at the roots of teeth
