| Show 0 elsinore school new room decorations our last months decorations have been discarded and we are planning a new way to beautify our school room our intentions are to have a large cloverleaf clover leaf painted on the black board and the calendar for this month in the center of the leaf other decorations will vill consist of green and white crepe paper drappel in some attractive way across the ceiling besides showing our school color in this decoration it will vill also express honor bonor for st patricks day which comes the day of this month debating after giving our three topics of debate due consideration we finally chose the following resolved that tha immigration to the united states should be prohibited for the next ten years information on the subject is being collected and our first debate will take place on friday march 5 1926 much pep shown by students it pays to advertise the students of the elsinore school realize this so they advertised their last tuesday ay night by staging a snake game lance dance through the streets of elsinore after this performance they gathered on the corner of main street and sang sonic some school songs and yelled their yells 1 ells with much vim and vigor As a result of this a large crowd was present at the basketball game that night r our last basketball bas netball game our basketball baske season is over we played our lost last game march 2 with monroe jt it was a very clean snappy game our boys fought f with every ounce ounce of fighting blood they pos essed both teams were sure sur of the victory torn until the very last minute when hen the e final whistle blew the score was 1715 17 15 in monroen monroes Mon Alon roes favor training for coming track meet the basketball season is 1 over so many students are taking advantage of the glorious spring weather and are training for the coming track meet the last few days they live have been practicing vaulting jumping I 1 etc they are improving quite rapidly and are sure to make a good showing in the coming meet |
