washington a hington a national get out olit the vote club this organization nill ill assist in the formation of local clubs throughout the country without regard to party lines all working to the one end of inducing all voters to register and to vote many voters do not go to the polls on election day because they have failed to register and it is either impossible or very difficult to q qualify on election day unless previously registered in order to make its work most effective this new club will begin its work early and induce citizens to register thus removing all reason tor for tailing failing to go to the pola when the ballots are to be marked the thal idea of a concerted effort to get out the stay at home vote is a very good one and should appeal to anybody and everybody interested ted in the welfare of our great country it is a matter of course that to assure we the welfare of the whole the welfare of the parts must be assured first in other words to have a strong nation we must have strong and well to do states to have such we must have well to do counties find and to come down to our particular need to have a well to do county we must see to it that its component parts our cities towns and vil villages lagee are strong and well to do faithful public servants are a first the public welfare and the means to get such faithful men to take care of our public destinies are within our reach by a proper use of our voting privilege it is easy to stay at home on election day and afterwards put all blame on the men who by the votes of only a few of those who ate are privileged to first prerequisite for the public wel vote were lecter and to give them ah h if they do and h if they dont to remedy such a condition there is only one help and that is to go
