ALANSON GLEDHILL OIES DIES OE PNEUMONIA was scheduled to leave por for camp leiis the day D ay iy following ilis his death one of the saddest deaths that has occurred in this community was that of alanson gledhill son of mr and mrs john E gledhill of this city who succumbed to an all attack of pneumonia on priday friday alanson was one of the selective draft men and should have left with the last of the draft quota last saturday tor for american lake but he was stricken with pneumonia a few days before and in spite of careful medical attention he succumbed to the disease funeral services were held on sun day afternoon at the second ward chapel when william H jos S horne home J L quist and bishop pronounced eulogies at the bier of the promising young man who had been on oil the eve of service serice to the colors in it the great cause of liberty appropriate music was rendered by members of the ward choir and louise chidester sang a beautiful solo alanson gledhill was a well known young m man an highly respected for his industry and genial disposition tit the e sympathy Y of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family
