Show FAIRVIEW j Mr. and Mrs. James L. Peterson of Fairview, announces the engagement of their daughter Alice Maurine to Maurice Colyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Colyar of Salt Lake City. The "marriage to take place at Salt Lake, September 26, 1928. Miss Peterson has been stenographer for Attorney A. M. Cheney of Salt Lake the past two years. The young couple will make their home at Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Clson Anderson announce an-nounce the birth of a baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Art Stewart announce the birth of a girl. ' Mr. L. P. Brady age 60, died at his home September 12, Funeral services -were held Friday, at 2 P. M. in the North Ward chapel with Bishop Henry Jones in charge of the services. Mr. Brady died of Stomach trouble, he has been in poor health for several years He leaves besides his wife, Mrs. Lena Brady, three children, Mrs. Hyrum Poulson of Provo, Mrs. Ed. Swanson of Seattle Washington, and Stanley Brady of Fairview,. He also leaves four brothers and four sisters, Simson, Heber, Marion, and Mrs. Charles Peterson Peter-son of Fairview. Mrs. Ross Jones of Salt Lake, Mrs. Martha Bird of Rigby Idaho, Mrs. Andrew Shepherd of Mt. 'Pleasant, Elias Brady of Duscheyne Utah. Mr. Brady was married to Miss Lena Larsen November, 10, 1887. They have had seven children, three of whom 'survive him. Mrs. C. V. Howell and Mrs. Annie Bells entertained, Thursday evening in honor of Mrs. H. M. Rasmussen. The evening was spent in quilting and social chat. A delicious luncheon was served to fourteen ladies of the relief society. Mr. and Mrs. Elsberry Garlic and Mr. and Mrs. John Mcintosh of Ogden 'visited relatives and friends of this city 'the past week. |
