Show i I S FOUNTAIN GREEN 1 By Special Correspondence A most delighful surprise party was given for Hy Johnson and was enjoyed last Monday evening by 16 of his friends. Those present were: Geraldine and Katie Allred, Lucile Anderson, Delia Robertson, Hannah Han-nah Johnson, Victoria Yorgason, Reva Livingston, Roeine Carver, end Edith Christensen of Moroni, Devere and Newel Johnson, Greg Llewellyin, Newel Jensen, Carlton Barentson, Gomer Llewellyn and Hy Johnson, Some lively games were played and radio music enjoyed en-joyed after which a delicious lunch was served. The Elite club met Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. C. R. Coombs where a pleasant afternoon af-ternoon was spent. They made plans for their Christmas party and the time was spent in a social chat. Refreshments were served. All the members were present. The Gloom Eusters club was entertained last Wednesday afternoon after-noon at the home of Ruby Ivory where radio music was enjoyed after which a lovely hot dinner was served. All members except two were present. Last Monday evening the S. B. G. Club met at the home of Miss Ina Hansen. Those present were: Barbara Jensen, Bessie Peterson, Evanelle Anderson, Jean Anderson, Ander-son, Zola Allen, Arvilla Mikkelsen and the hostess. A lovely lunch was served and the evening was spent in doing needle work. Mrs. Mercie Ivory left for Salt Lake City Monday where she will remain for a few days. A successful dance was given Friday evening under the direction of the Elders quorum. Old and new dances were enjoyed. A large number of people were in attendance. attend-ance. Conjoint session was held Sunday Sun-day evening and an instructive program was enjoyed by the large number of people in attendance. The theme was "Immortality" and the musical numbers were all ap-propiate ap-propiate for the subject. A Home Economics meeting was held December 4th at the home of Mrs. Cleo Nielsen. A Christmas stcry was read by Ruby Ivory, current events given by Mattie Yorgason and a Christmas reading read-ing by Martha Edler. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. |
