Jackson announce the arrival of a baby boy born July 5th. Mrs. Oscar Reese of Salt Lake Is visiting her mother Mrs. B. M. Jac-obson. Jac-obson. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jacobson are visiting vis-iting here for a few days. Miss Virginia Llewellyn has returned return-ed to Salt Lake after visiting here with mother for a few days. Mrs. Frank Crowther of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Crowther of -Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Long of Provo Pro-vo spent Sunday visiting at the home of Bishop Osmond Crowther. Mrs. George E. Collard and children of Provo are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. M. Jensen. Mr. E. J. Wilson and family of Hy-rum, Hy-rum, Utah, spent one day of this week visiting at the home of Bishop Osmond Os-mond Crowther. Mr. Leland Anderson of Tremontoii, Utah, is the guest of Miss Victoria Jackson. Mrs. J. A. McDonald of Salt Lake is visiting her mother, Mrs. George W. Ivory. The Rome Economics club held theit monthly meeting Friday, July 5th. They decided to have an outing to Arrowhead resort on Wednesday, July 17th. The public is invited to be present. A program, sports and luncheon will be the main features of the day's entertainment. Everyone Is requested to take their own lunch. Arrangemens for transportation can be made at the Fountain Green garage. The H. E. club is hoping for a large crowd to participate in the big outing. out-ing. Miss Magdalene Coombs is visiting at the home of Dr. P. L. Holman In Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Lyda Guymon entertained a-bout a-bout sixty-five guests at a shower Tuesday night in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Blackham. Games were played. Refreshments were served. The newlyweds were presented with many lovely gifts. Alvin Coombs is at the Dice hospital in Moroni where he was operated on Sunday night for appendicitis. His condition Is reported as good. Mrs. Harry Holman entertained the "Just A Mere" club at a luncheon and outing at Salt Creek canyon Thursday afternoon. Mrs. P. L. Holman and children of Mt. Pleasant spent a few days visiting Mrs. Holman's mother, Mrs. E. J. : Coombs. Word has been received here of the death in Salt Lake City of N. M. Anderson, An-derson, a former resident of this city. : He leaves a wife and one child. Mrs. Milton Oldroyd was hostess to ' the members of the G. B. club at her i home on Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Oldroyd, Jessie Oldroyd and Mrs. Mary J. Oldroyd are visiting relatives at Fairview, Wyoming. Wy-oming. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy Seager left on Fridy for Tremonton, Utah, to attend at-tend the funeral services of Mr. Sea-ger's Sea-ger's sister, who was killed in an automobile auto-mobile accident July 3rd. Miss Geraldine Allred entertained at a shower in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Blackham on Wednesday night. A delightful luncheon was served and a jolly evening was spent. The newlyweds new-lyweds received many beautiful gifts. |
