Prayer Chaplain. A ball game between Fairview and Mt. Pleasant was played at the City park, with the score being 11-5 in favor fa-vor of Fairview. From six to eight o'clock a dance for the children was held. Games and sports were held in the afternoon at the City park. Fireworks and a dance at the Rainbow completed the day's entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. Howard- Rigby announce an-nounce the arrival of a baby boy. Mrs. May Hartley, 50, died at the Dice hospital Tuesday July 9th, following fol-lowing an operation. She had been in poor health for some time. Mrs. Hartley is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin 'Peterson, was born in Mt. Pleasant, August 13. 1878. She married Andrew Hartley December 6, 1899. They had nine children, seven of whom survive: Laura, Goldie, Ruby, Wayne, Andrew, Caleb and Ross Hartley, all of Fair-view. Fair-view. She is also survived by her husband and the following brothers and sisters: George and Melvin Peterson, Peter-son, Indianola; Mrs. Carolina Hartley and Mrs. Maud Bohne, Fairview; Mrs. Vera Reed, Salt Lake City. Mrs. Hartley has lived at Fairview for 33 years, and has spent most of her summers at Indianola. Largely attended funeral services for Mrs. May Hartley were held in the North ward chapel Thursday. Music was by the combined Fair-view Fair-view choirs, and a duet by Stanley Brady and Jesse L. Young. Many beautiful floral offerings were given. Prayers were by A. L. Carlston and Albert Al-bert Stewart. Speakers -who paid respect to her memory were Peter Peterson Pet-erson Fred Danielson, Bishop J. R. Graham and Bishop Henry Jones. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery ceme-tery where Bishop Jones dedicated the Many relatives and. friends from out of town came to attend her last rites. Mrs. Selma Faring and Children returned re-turned to their home in Helper after a three weeks visit here with her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Andrew Lassen. Mrs. Andrew Jensen of Salt Lake and her brother Fred Allred of Soda Iprings, Idaho, are visiting relatives here this week. Miss Cleon Lassen has gone to Colorado Col-orado to visit relatives and friends Mr and Mrs. Leo Stocks of Bingham Bing-ham are spending the week with rela- tlVMrs. Harold Christensen of Spring-ville Spring-ville is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.
