Show Pretty Wedding at the frandsen Home Outstanding among the events of the week was the wedding of Louise Frandsr.n. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Frandsen and Willis Madsen, son of Mrs. Neil M. Madsen of Price. The ceremony was performed Wednesday Wed-nesday at the home of the bride's parents at dusk in the presence of the immediate families, with President H. C. Jacobs officiating. The ceremony was preceded by the following selections: violin solo, "The Rosary," Mrs. N. A. Carter; vocal solo, "Oh. Promise Me," Reid Gammefe. The bridal party entered to the strains of "The Wedding March," played by Mrs. Reid Gammell. The ceremony was performed under an archway of flowers by candlelight. The bride wore a gown of orchid taffeta and a veil of pale pink tulle, and carried a bouquet of rosebuds and lilies. Sht was attended by Miss Johannah Madsen, Mad-sen, maid of honor; Mrs. Lon Larsen, matron ot honor; Miss Evelyn Madsen, Mad-sen, bridesmaid, and little Miss Maur-ine Maur-ine Gammell, train bearer. The attendants at-tendants wore gowns of pastel shades. Bruce Madsen was best man. Immediately following the ceremony a reception was given by the bride's parents. The color scheme was attractively at-tractively carried out in pink and white. One hundred guests were served serv-ed at the dinner table centered by a pink and white, English style wedding cake, and green tapers at each end. During dinner a musical program was presented by Miss Oleah Wall, Miss Christie Jacobsen, Miss Thelma Beau-man, Beau-man, Miss El Rasmussen, and Miss Kathryn Jaeoosen. The young couple left for a honeymoon honey-moon trip to Yellowstone National Park. After September first they will be at home in Mt. Pleasant. Out-of-town people who came to attend the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Lovar Averett, Emmett, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Carter, Lund, Nevada; Ne-vada; Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gammell, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Nichol, Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde O. Pannier, Pan-nier, Mrs. Ed. Farmer, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pannier, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Campell, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Deming, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Lenard, Price; Mr. and Mrs. Byron Carter, Helper; Wm. Pizza, Scofield; and S. Sillitoe, Scofield. |
